Computer Games Addiction

Many Students now are fun with computer games specially that DOTA games, they are cutting classes just to play or even worst absent for the class for it. What will get in that game??..for sure will get failing marks in you studies plus scold of your parent. Even examinations many students played, then don’t read their lessons or I should say "Happy Go Lucky".
Do you know that your parents are having difficult time just to get you to school? then what will you do?spend your time with that game!, what happen to you conscience?.. When your parents scolded you, you just ignore them. Hey you! it for your own future.
I is also good, to give you entertainment, but do not over do it, I also played computer games, however I control myself, I played when I have a extra time, like after school and without examinations..
I advice to you, you spend your time in other ways, that has less expensive. Save your money for your future.

Spend Your Money Wisely..

1.Find clothes on sale. Look for clearance sales at stores.

2.Avoid splurging too much at once. If you go out to the movies, for example, don't buy movie theatre snacks. Instead, after the theatre, get a milkshake or doughnut from a store nearby.

3.If your job does not take up all your time, get a part-time job to make more money. Even if this job is a once-a-week thing, if it means more money, go for it!

4. Do not get a credit card unless you are under deadly circumstances. A credit card just tempts you to splurge out.

5. Compile a list of what you need, and what you want. Budget for it so that when your salary comes in, you can buy what is on the list. Don't buy anything that is not on the list, though. Include food, clothes, and extras for the kids.

6. Know when to limit yourself. If you are a magazine obssessed person and you buy 10 thousand magazines each month, stop! Choose one or two of your favorite magazines and subscribe to them for a year.

7. Don't go out and spend all of your money at the pub, drinking. It is such a waste. Limit yourself to a couple of drinks or no drinks per week. Or youcan just quit drinking altogether. IT will save you a lot of money.

8. Go through all of your old stuff, sort out a section that you don't want and sell it. Hold a garage sale or auction off stuff on eBay. Instant cash!

9. Avoid borrowing money. It adds up to the cost. You really want something. Put it on a list, and get it next month.

10. Limit your computer, telephone, television, radio, and electricity time. Use candles instead of lights, watch less TV (if you are obsessed limit yourself to one TV show a day), don't bother listening to the radio, go and visit your friends instead of calling them.

Kadayawan (Davao City - August)

A warm and friendly greeting derived from the Dabawenyo word "dayaw" that means good, valuable, superior or beautiful. Such is "Kadayawan," a celebration of life, a thanksgiving for the gifts of nature, the wealth of culture, the bounties of harvest and serenity of living.
Today, Kadayawan has metamorphosed into a festival of festivals, the mother of many other fesivals in the region as it honors Davao's heritage, its past personified by the ancestral "lumads", its people as they celebrate on the streets, and its floral industry as they parade in full regalia in thanksgiving for the blessings bestowed on the city.
The festival began from a government-initiated program called “Unlad Proyekto Davao” in 1986, planned to unite the DavaoeƱos after the chaotic martial law years and to showcase the city as a peaceful and colorful place to visit and do business in. At the time, it was called “Apo Duwaling,”a name created from the icons Davao was famous for: Mt. Apo, the country's highest peak; durian, the king of fruits; and waling-waling. The queen of orchids. Davao is also home of the majestic Philippine eagle, the national bird. In 1988, the festival was renamed “Kadayawan sa Dabaw” by Mayor Rodrigo Duterte to celebrate the city's unique wealth in flowers, fruits, and ethnic culture.
Today, Kadayawan has transformed into a festival of festivals, the mother of may other festivals in the region as it honors Davao’s artistic, cultural and historical heritage, its past personified by the ancestral “lumads”, its people as they celebrate on the streets, and its floral industry as they parade in full regalia in thanksgiving for the blessings granted on the city.“Kadayawan sa Dabaw” is an enriching experience with a difference as its explores the past, present and future of the DavaoeƱos, the Mindanaoans, the Filipinos. Its sights and sounds remain supreme. Be part of the experience.“Du-aw na sa Dabaw! Duyog sa Kadayawan! Maglingaw-lingaw ta!”
