What is tramadol? Tramadol is a synthetic pain medication most often prescribed to treat moderately severe pain. A generic version of the brand name drug Ultram, it has become very popular as a solution for those suffering from arthritis pain as well as neuralgia, migraines, and fibromyalgia. In addition, Tramadol works by binding to the opioid receptors in the brain, thereby changing the way the body senses pain. It’s generally considered to be far less addictive than other popular pain medications, making it an excellent choice for managing chronic pain. Tramadol is available in several different forms including capsules, tablets, and suppositories. There is also an extended-release form available, most often prescribed for patients with chronic pain requiring long-term treatment.

Worrying about tramadol side effects? Here’s the answer of your doubt, patients who take tramadol should be aware that the drug carries a variety of potential side effects. While doctors widely prescribe the drug to patients who suffer from chronic pain, it is still a drug that carries several dangers with it. These problems can apply to humans as well as to animals, as tramadol is frequently administered to pets who have undergone surgery recently or who have received a traumatic injury. Side effects of tramadol are many and varied. For women who are pregnant, it may include problems with the fetus, including neonatal withdrawal and birth defects. For most people who take the drug, the primary risks involve such issues as constipation, nausea, excessive perspiration, seizures, anxiety, depression, dizziness, loss of appetite and diarrhea. More severe symptoms include fainting spells, severe allergic reactions, suicidal thoughts, persistent headaches, frequent vomiting, perpetual tiredness, shallow breathing and vision changes. Well, its up to you to decide whether you are in or out!.

The hostage taking was on a tourist bus (HONG THAI TOURIST) held in Quirino Grandstand Manila Philippines. The hostage taking started around 10 am(local time) and ended around 9 pm.

Philippine security forces stormed a bus full of Hong Kong tourists on Monday to end a dramatic hostage crisis that unfolded live on global television, leaving at least seven people and the gunman dead.Hong Kong eventually issued its top-level black travel alert for the Philippines on Monday after Hong Kong tourists were killed in Manila in a bus hijack by an armed ex-policeman.The Hong Kong government said it was “very disappointed” about the outcome of a dramatic hostage siege. The day-long ordeal began when a disgruntled ex-policeman armed with an M-16 assault rifle hijacked the bus in Manila’s tourist district in a desperate bid to get his job back.Negotiations broke down after nightfall when the gunman, a highly decorated former senior police inspector identified as Rolando Mendoza, began shooting the passengers, and commandos stormed the bus.Police said Mendoza was shot dead by a sniper after he used his captives as “human shields” in the final moments of the 12-hour standoff. In the end, one of the snipers managed to shoot the hostage taker in the head.

Now the Security Bureau of Hong Kong advised its citizens to avoid all travel to the Philippines an hour after the hostage crisis ended Monday. In an outbound travel alert, the Security Bureau, changed its “amber alert warning" - meaning there were signs of threat - for the Philippines to a “black alert warning" indicating severe threats on the country’s security.

The Hong Kong warning stated that a “serious kidnap incident happened in the Philippines. [R]esidents should avoid all travel to the country; those who are already there should attend to their personal safety and exercise caution."

The travel warning came after the 10-hour hostage crisis ended with at least 4 Chinese nationals killed. Hostage-taker Rolando Mendoza, a former police office, was shot in the head by a SWAT sniper.

Jayehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06260247389935253118noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4862886771270097462.post-47640297673161312382010-08-23T16:49:00.006+08:002010-08-23T17:02:35.188+08:00Traveling Singapore

Singapore is an Asian melting pot of fascinating crossroadbetween East and West. Adobe confirmed its network was also breached in the same attacks but did not provide any details on what was stolen.

In a statement, Juniper Network said it was investigating “a cyber security incident involving a sophisticated and targeted attack against a number of companies.”

According to public chatter, the attackers originated in Taiwan and included a hijacked Internet addressed owned by Rackspace. The hosting firm has confirmed that its systems “played a very small part” in the attacks.

Details on the cyber-attacks are beginning to trickle out. According to Dan Kaminsky, a security researcher who was briefed on the IE vulnerability used in one of the attacks, the exploit was targeted at a Windows XP machine running Internet Explorer 6.

This was confirmed by a Mike Reavey, a director in the Microsoft Security Response Center. “To date, Microsoft has not seen widespread customer impact, rather only targeted and limited attacks exploiting IE 6,” Reavey said.

Here’s the skinny from Microsoft’s advisory:

The vulnerability exists as an invalid pointer reference within Internet Explorer. It is possible under certain conditions for the invalid pointer to be accessed after an object is deleted. In a specially-crafted attack, in attempting to access a freed object, Internet Explorer can be caused to allow remote code execution.

The flaw affects Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 1 on Microsoft Windows 2000 Service Pack 4, and Internet Explorer 6, Internet Explorer 7 and Internet Explorer 8 on supported editions of Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008, Windows 7, and Windows Server 2008 R2 are affected.

Here’s the danger:

To exploit, an attacker could host a specially crafted Web site, or take advantage of a compromised website, and then convince a user to view the Web site. In all cases, however, an attacker would have no way to force users to visit these malicious Web sites. Instead, an attacker would have to convince users to visit the Web site, typically by getting them to click a link in an e-mail message or in an Instant Messenger message, that directs users to the attacker’s Web site. It could also be possible to display specially crafted Web content using banner advertisements or other methods to deliver Web content to affected systems. The Microsoft investigation concluded that setting the Internet zone security setting to “high” will protect users from the vulnerability addressed in this advisory.

Microsoft is considering an out-of-band emergency IE patch to fix this vulnerability.Jayehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06260247389935253118noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4862886771270097462.post-17125800644410283962009-12-17T23:05:00.001+08:002009-12-17T23:08:51.277+08:00I Love you Goodbye...:(
I stared in the heavens full of stars that flicker in my entire domain. Where I stayed in the cold night that wind blows cuddles my skin, and the birds that tweet under those dancing tree leaves that seemed like music in my ears. Such a staggering moment of nostalgia, I am here now in the midst of retention, that all I can do is to stare at your endearing, lovable and charming face…
I looked at it quite long, when I saw your inner self who blurs every aspect of your personality. I met and glare at your eyes that tot up your being man. I didn’t expected what I saw in it. It’s the part of you that covers your identity. I wonder why. You are sad, and I was saddened at the moment of that stare.
I thought you were completely happy when you told me that everything has been so perfect between life and love. I feel for you, and it’s because of that I loving you.
Your eyes became blue, where I can see is just the miserable you. I do not know how to make it cheery again. Questions ruined my mind; unanswered doubts over my head surrounds. Are you trying to tell me that love has been dreary? That those eyes I see is not anymore happy?
It was such a pain in my entire ego. Those cold nights that I was dreaming of you, the bitter-sweet memories that I completely grateful because of you were already turned into a nightmare, that all I could do is to hug myself and whimper.
I became miserable because your reasons never fitted as the right answer. You loved me, but it feels like you don’t. Realizations occur like a bullet from a gun. And you made up your mind.
All my nights became a nightmare. Your eyes that I used to stare, is not anymore there. You’re now so far away. And I can’t find any way to feel your love today. I feel futile, like I was about to mislay myself.
It was over…
It was really over him… Indeed over about us…
As I realized, it was him who never fought back. It was him who surrendered. And it was me saying that, “I love you, Goodbye”…Jayehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06260247389935253118noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4862886771270097462.post-65623743581366278092009-12-14T16:37:00.000+08:002009-12-14T16:38:19.450+08:00martial law in Maguindanao LiftedPresident Gloria Arroyo lifted Saturday December 12,2009 the state of martial law in Maguindanao a week after it was imposed and even before both Houses of Congress could decide if it would approve or revoke it. The Chief Executive revoked martial law effective 9 p.m. December 12,2009 upon the recommendation of the Security Cabinet Group, Executive Secretary Eduardo Ermita said in a press briefing in Malacañang December 12,2009 afternoon.
“It is a standing directive, but President Arroyo can manifest that she has already lifted martial law,” Guerra said, adding that the “matter will be considered by the Court in its en banc session on Tuesday.”
Ermita also disclosed that based on the PNP and Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) reports, most of the areas where massing of rebel groups had occurred had been cleared, including the towns of Ampatuan, Datu Unsay, Shariff Aguak, and Talayan. The reports added that criminal justice has also been restored and is now working; and the local government has also been restored following the appointment of Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) Vice Governor Ansaruddin Adiong as the acting governor.
At last, people in Maguindanao have been free from the martial law and now can go out freely out in the street and no hesitation of being caught or harassed by the military.Jayehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06260247389935253118noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4862886771270097462.post-48088039013648988892009-12-01T13:30:00.001+08:002009-12-01T13:30:32.886+08:00A seed ascends around the turntable.A seed ascends around the turntable.Jayehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06260247389935253118noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4862886771270097462.post-19149792951393713672009-11-27T11:27:00.002+08:002009-11-27T11:31:39.771+08:00Mangudadatu Maguindao Massacre!

Witness: 'We just followed orders'

A man who says he was a witness to Monday's massacre in the southern Philippines has told Al Jazeera how he was ordered to kill members of a rival political clan - including women and children - and to make sure no evidence was left behind.

The witness, who identified himself only as "Boy", said he was among more than 100 armed men who held up a convoy of political campaigners and journalists before taking them to a remote mountainous area where they were then killed.

Speaking to Al Jazeera's correspondent Marga Ortigas, "Boy" said the orders had come directly from Andal Ampatuan Jr., a local mayor and a member of a politically powerful local with close ties to the Philippines president.

"Datu Andal himself said, he said to us: anyone from the Mangudadatu clan - women or children - should be killed... Of course I am a Filipino so I am on Manny Pacquiao side. I never thought that Miguel Cotto will survive up to 12th round of the game because he was knock down by Manny Pacquiao twice. I was so pity for Miguel Cotto, his face was full of bruises and his eyes were swelling with blood. Well, I guess that is boxing all about, “Basagan ng mukha at tibay ng katawan”. Lastly, even though Miguel Cotto lost th fight, he shows that he is truly a sports, he came to the camp of Manny Pacquiao and congratulate for his win. All Filipinos is Celebrating Manny Pacquiao win! Now, Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao hold the title of WBO Welterweight Champion of the world and 7 divisions Pound per Pound King. He holds the record of 50 Wins (38 by way of Knockout), 3 Loses, 2 Draws.Jayehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06260247389935253118noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4862886771270097462.post-80235587771647705742009-10-09T19:32:00.003+08:002009-10-09T19:41:36.707+08:00Side effects of being IT minded!
Anup

I don't login to orkut, yahoo, gmail, youtube, etc.. at my personal internet connection at home... thinking it will be blocked any way.

Till I realize - I am at home.

Rohit

Yeah sometimes it do happens with me also........ ....while writing personal mails also........ .I jus use the way as if I am writing to onsite or some senior person...... ..

Jus forget that we are jus mailing our friends..... .........

And keeping hands in front of tap for waiting water to drop by itself is very frequent with me.......... .....I jus forget that we have to turn on and off the tap......... ..

Nidhi

Awesome!!

Once after talking to one of my friend. A lawyer purchased a box of very rare and expensive cigars, then insured them against, among other things, fire. Within a month, having smoked his entire stockpile of these great cigars and without yet having made even his first premium payment on the policy the lawyer filed a claim against the insurance company.

In his claim, the lawyer stated the cigars were lost "in a series of small fires." The insurance company refused to pay, citing the obvious reason, that the man had consumed the cigars in the normal fashion.

The lawyer sued.. and WON!

(Stay with me.)

Delivering the ruling, the judge agreed with the insurance company
that the claim was frivolous.

The judge stated nevertheless, that the lawyer held a policy from
the company, which it had warranted that the cigars were insurable and also guaranteed that it would insure them against fire, without defining what is considered to be unacceptable fire" and was obligated to pay the claim. Rather than endure lengthy and costly appeal process, the insurance company accepted the ruling and paid $15,000 to the lawyer for his loss of the cigars lost in the "fires".

NOW FOR THE BEST PART..

After the lawyer cashed the check, the insurance company had him arrested on 24 counts of ARSON (Arson is the crime of deliberately and maliciously setting fire to structures or wildland areas.) With his own insurance claim and testimony from the previous case being used against him, the lawyer was convicted of intentionally burning his insured property and was sentenced to 24 months in jail and a $24,000 fine.

This is a true story and was the First Place winner in the recent

Criminal Lawyers Award Contest.

ONLY IN America!
Jayehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06260247389935253118noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4862886771270097462.post-76630337377226258852009-10-09T00:55:00.003+08:002009-10-09T01:05:02.532+08:00Another Typhoon Called Pepeng strucks Luzon again!!

Just recently the super typhoon Ondoy left a massive destruction on Philippine territory, many people suffered from hunger and lost of home. After a few day that Ondoy left the Philippine territory another typhoon came again, the typhoon was Pepeng, people in Luzon has not yet recovered from Ondoys destruction and now Pepeng came! Trully and indeed, natures payback is a doubled than what we are doing on mother earth. So people out there, pls help the people in Luzon that suffers from hunger and no home to shelter with.

"
MANILA, OCTOBER 5, 2009 (MALAYA) BY REGINA BENGCO (Now comes ‘Melor’ in wake of ‘Pepeng’ Pre-emptive actions reduce casualties)

MALACAÑANG yesterday ordered local government units to prepare for the entry of typhoon "Melor" and the return of "Pepeng."

Melor is expected to enter this afternoon or early evening, according to the weather bureau.

Pepeng, which hit the North over the weekend, is being prevented by a high-pressure area from moving toward the South China Sea and leaving the country, said the weather bureau.

Weather forecasters said Melor, which would be given the local name "Quedan" when it enters Philippine territory, may cause exiting Pepeng to do a loop and go back to the Ilocos region, particularly Batanes.

Melor has wreaked havoc in the Northern Marianas and Saipan.

Forecasters said Pepeng and Melor are interacting with each other due to their close proximity, a phenomenon known as Fujiwhara effect or Fujiwhara interaction, which was named after Japanese meteorologist Sakuhei Fujiwhara.

When two cyclones approach each other, their centers orbit and spiral. The larger one will tend to dominate the smaller, although there are times when they merge.

As of 4 p.m. yesterday, Pepeng was 150 km north northwest of Laoag City with maximum sustained winds of 120 kph and gustiness of up to 150 kph. It is forecast to remain almost stationary because it was already interacting with Melor. It weakened from 175 kph to 120 kph Sunday morning.

Pepeng, which was earlier feared to become a super typhoon, claimed at least 14 lives as it hit the North, particularly the Cagayan Valley Region, Saturday.

The fatality toll is way below that of storm "Ondoy" which left 288 people dead as it lashed Metro Manila and nearby regions two Saturdays ago.

Authorities attributed the low casualty figure to pre-emptive actions implemented by the government before Pepeng entered the country over the weekend.

The Office of Civil Defense said there was no casualty in the worst-hit Cagayan Valley region where some 7,000 residents were evacuated before Pepeng made landfall Saturday afternoon.

"We are zero casualty this time," said OCD regional director Chito Castro.

He said strong winds downed a number of electric posts and uprooted trees.

Heavy downpour resulted in the swelling of the Cagayan river, affecting heavily those in the extreme north areas.

He said power outages were reported in many parts of the region. He said landlines were down and that cellular phone coverage were erratic.

All in all, Castro said, about 10,000 families were affected by the calamity throughout the region.

In the Bicol region, some 28,100 families or 132,649 were preemptively evacuated before Pepeng’s landfall.

Heavy downpour caused flooding in some areas, but this subsided later on Saturday, prompting the evacuees to start returning to their houses.

Raffy Alejandro, OCD director in Bicol, said two were reported dead in the region – two-year-old Edwin Domagsang who drowned in Baao town, Camarines Sur, and Roger Moreno who fell while fixing the roof of his house in Naga City.

In the Cordillera Administrative Region, the regional OCD reported 12 deaths in two landslide incidents in Benguet. Two others were injured and one was reported missing in the region, said regional director Olive Luces.

Five of the 12 fatalities perished in a landslide in Beckel village in La Trinidad town. They were Catalina Tabora, Laruan Tobora, Zenia Galbey, Rustom Galbey, and Dapney Gabley.

The seven others died in another landslide in Sitio Manganese, Ampucao village in Itogon town, also in Benguet. Five of them were eight-year-old Junie Cadasa Jr; Jeric Cadasa, 10; Alex Rufino, 21; Ernesto Gabayne, and Lanoy Cadasa while the two others are still unidentified.

Luces said hundreds of families were evacuated due to flooding and landslides.

She said power interruptions were reported in the entire provinces of Kalinga, Abra and Ifugao while part of Mt. The streets was covered with water, poor or rich get out from there home and went to evacuation areas, many families was stranded in there own home, no water, no food and no electricy, they only relie on other people specially the rescuer to help them, but rescuer are not sufficient to cover all the town and barangays. Ondoy done a massive distruction on the Philippines, many people died and many families lost their home. According to a news tabloid
" MANILA, Philippines — (UPDATE) At least 50 people were reported dead as tropical storm “Ondoy” (international code name: Ketsana) lashed the Philippines, bringing massive flooding, television and radio reports said early Sunday.

At least 40 were killed in Rizal province, east of Manila, as entire towns were inundated, Rizal Governor Casimiro Ynares was quoted as saying by GMA television.

Radio stations had earlier reported 10 dead in Manila and its surrounding areas. This included a father and child killed by a collapsing wall weakened by the flood as well as others swept away by rising waters.

Ynares said there were many more missing in flooded towns in his province but he did not give details.

The government declared Manila and 25 other provinces to be in a "state of calamity," Defense Secretary Gilberto Teodoro said, as heavy rains brought by the storm caused the worst flooding in the capital in some 20 years.

Amid a rash of cellphone calls for help by people stranded on the roofs of their houses, President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo appealed to the public to stay calm and follow the instructions of local officials and civil defense workers.

Over 1,800 people were forced to flee their homes and take refuge in evacuation centers due to rising waters, the Office of Civil Defense said.

Flooding was reported in many districts with waters in some areas reaching as high as the rooftops of one-storey buildings, it added.

Power was cut in many areas of Manila, partly due to flooding but also as a protective measure to prevent fallen lines electrocuting people trying to escape the waters.

Defense Secretary Teodoro, who is also in charge of civil defense operations, said all the efforts of the police and the military were being concentrated on rescuing people trapped on rooftops.

But he said the flooding in the streets and the large numbers of stalled vehicles were giving rescue units "a hard time" in reaching those affected.

In a radio broadcast, he advised that "if you are on the roof, don't try to leave. Just remain there on the roof and we will do everything to rescue you."

He remarked that even he had to swim through chest-deep waters to reach his office.

The storm, bearing winds of 85 kilometers (53 miles) per hour with gusts of 100 kph, hit the main island of Luzon near the town of Infanta at about 0200 GMT Saturday, moving west at 19 kph, the weather station said.

Government weather forecaster Gener Quitlong said the equivalent of one month's worth of rain fell on Manila in less than a day.

"We knew there would be rain but not like this," Quitlong told reporters.

One of the three airport terminals in Manila was forced to cancel and divert flights after the flooding hampered its electrical system.

Local officials interviewed on radio said they were moving to evacuate more of their residents.

At least four hospitals in the capital had to move their patients to higher floors after water began seeping into lower levels.

The highways leading to metropolitan Manila were rendered impassable due to the huge number of vehicles stalled in the floodwaters.

Local officials made radio appeals asking rescue agencies to send rubber boats to rescue stranded people, some of whom had been on their rooftops all day and were panicking because of rising waters.

In a suburb of Manila, residents in a flooded area were seen rescuing children from rooftops by placing them in inflated inner tubes before dragging them to higher ground.

The second level of a three-step storm alert was raised over the eastern provinces of Luzon while the first level alert was hoisted over metropolitan Manila and surrounding areas, the government said.

The storm is expected to move west, across the main island of Luzon, before leaving the country early Sunday. My problem now is this! Thesis or let say research paper with technical output. That's what keeping me busy all this months, my groupmates make our research paper in our apartment, they sleep their even eat, just to complete our project. Making project together with you groupmates is fun, foods and even more foods, that's what I like in making project, sleepless night and absence in other classes and worst is sleeping during classes. I have many experiences in making project like these just like our project during last semester, but now its different, more pressure and difficulty.

We had our defense last week, Guess what! we failed! hahahaha.. the decisions of the panels where mutual, RE-DEFENSE! Well, thats student life, you need to undergo this kind of situation even if hurts to your heart. They given us another two weeks to deal this project or else failed and re-enrolled next semester!

5 days from now is our re-defense schedule, our project in just about 30% working, I hope a miracle happen to us so that we can finish this project a pass. Or else, next semester is another agony..huhuhu..I know our Lord will guide us and ME not to be lazy ang work hard!

PS:
Hi, after almost a year of resting in blogging, I decided to come back, I am bored..hehehe..but also I need money..hahaha..hopefully I can get money again by blogging, I have a goal again..so for you all other bloggers, I want to exchange links to you! add me up! photojaye.blogspot.com Thank you..Jayehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06260247389935253118noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4862886771270097462.post-47408152920196940772009-10-02T14:01:00.004+08:002009-10-03T01:50:12.946+08:00Heroes of Newerth
Calling all gamers out there, All DOTA addicts and other strategy game addicts!
