I Love you Goodbye...:(

I stared in the heavens full of stars that flicker in my entire domain. Where I stayed in the cold night that wind blows cuddles my skin, and the birds that tweet under those dancing tree leaves that seemed like music in my ears. Such a staggering moment of nostalgia, I am here now in the midst of retention, that all I can do is to stare at your endearing, lovable and charming face…
I looked at it quite long, when I saw your inner self who blurs every aspect of your personality. I met and glare at your eyes that tot up your being man. I didn’t expected what I saw in it. It’s the part of you that covers your identity. I wonder why. You are sad, and I was saddened at the moment of that stare.
I thought you were completely happy when you told me that everything has been so perfect between life and love. I feel for you, and it’s because of that I loving you.
Your eyes became blue, where I can see is just the miserable you. I do not know how to make it cheery again. Questions ruined my mind; unanswered doubts over my head surrounds. Are you trying to tell me that love has been dreary? That those eyes I see is not anymore happy?
It was such a pain in my entire ego. Those cold nights that I was dreaming of you, the bitter-sweet memories that I completely grateful because of you were already turned into a nightmare, that all I could do is to hug myself and whimper.
I became miserable because your reasons never fitted as the right answer. You loved me, but it feels like you don’t. Realizations occur like a bullet from a gun. And you made up your mind.
All my nights became a nightmare. Your eyes that I used to stare, is not anymore there. You’re now so far away. And I can’t find any way to feel your love today. I feel futile, like I was about to mislay myself.
It was over…
It was really over him… Indeed over about us…
As I realized, it was him who never fought back. It was him who surrendered. And it was me saying that, “I love you, Goodbye”…

martial law in Maguindanao Lifted

President Gloria Arroyo lifted Saturday December 12,2009 the state of martial law in Maguindanao a week after it was imposed and even before both Houses of Congress could decide if it would approve or revoke it. The Chief Executive revoked martial law effective 9 p.m. December 12,2009 upon the recommendation of the Security Cabinet Group, Executive Secretary Eduardo Ermita said in a press briefing in Malacañang December 12,2009 afternoon.
“It is a standing directive, but President Arroyo can manifest that she has already lifted martial law,” Guerra said, adding that the “matter will be considered by the Court in its en banc session on Tuesday.”
Ermita also disclosed that based on the PNP and Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) reports, most of the areas where massing of rebel groups had occurred had been cleared, including the towns of Ampatuan, Datu Unsay, Shariff Aguak, and Talayan. The reports added that criminal justice has also been restored and is now working; and the local government has also been restored following the appointment of Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) Vice Governor Ansaruddin Adiong as the acting governor.
At last, people in Maguindanao have been free from the martial law and now can go out freely out in the street and no hesitation of being caught or harassed by the military.

Mangudadatu Maguindao Massacre!

Witness: 'We just followed orders'

A man who says he was a witness to Monday's massacre in the southern Philippines has told Al Jazeera how he was ordered to kill members of a rival political clan - including women and children - and to make sure no evidence was left behind.

The witness, who identified himself only as "Boy", said he was among more than 100 armed men who held up a convoy of political campaigners and journalists before taking them to a remote mountainous area where they were then killed.

Speaking to Al Jazeera's correspondent Marga Ortigas, "Boy" said the orders had come directly from Andal Ampatuan Jr., a local mayor and a member of a politically powerful local with close ties to the Philippines president.

"Datu Andal himself said, he said to us: anyone from the Mangudadatu clan - women or children - should be killed... We don't ask why, we just followed orders."

"Someone called and said soldiers were on their way"

At least 57 people died in the massacre, believed to be the worst ever politically-related killings in the Philippines.

"Boy", who is now in hiding fearing his life is in danger, said all of the women in the group had been raped before being killed.

Their bodies were then dumped in mass graves that had already been dug out in advance using an excavator.

He said that Ampatuan Jr had also ordered that the reporters accompanying the convoy should also be killed to cover-up what had happened.

Warning

"That too was ordered by Datu Andal… because they didn't want any evidence left behind," he said.

"Boy" said the whole process had lasted little more than an hour before the gunmen had to abruptly abandon the scene following a warning that members of the military were nearby.

"We didn't get to finish, which is why the excavator was left there," he said.

"Someone called and said soldiers were on their way. I feel they have connections among the soldiers."

Speaking with his face covered to his identity, "Boy" said he was supposed to have been an active participant in the massacre but did not actually kill any of the victims.

He said he would have been shot if he had tried to intervene.

"I was just standing there," he said "I was all alone… I could only leave it up to my conscience."

Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao Wins!!

To those people haven’t watch the fight here’the full fight video in High definition:

Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao wins over Miguel Cotto via Technical Knock-out on the 12th round of the game. I watch the game last November 15, 2009 Philippines and it was November 14, 2009 at USA. The Fight was held at MGM Grand Arena Las Vegas, Neveda, USA. The fight between them is awesome! Of course I am a Filipino so I am on Manny Pacquiao side. I never thought that Miguel Cotto will survive up to 12th round of the game because he was knock down by Manny Pacquiao twice. I was so pity for Miguel Cotto, his face was full of bruises and his eyes were swelling with blood. Well, I guess that is boxing all about, “Basagan ng mukha at tibay ng katawan”. Lastly, even though Miguel Cotto lost th fight, he shows that he is truly a sports, he came to the camp of Manny Pacquiao and congratulate for his win. All Filipinos is Celebrating Manny Pacquiao win! Now, Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao hold the title of WBO Welterweight Champion of the world and 7 divisions Pound per Pound King. He holds the record of 50 Wins (38 by way of Knockout), 3 Loses, 2 Draws.

Best Lawyer Story

BEST LAWYER STORY OF THE YEAR,
DECADE AND PROBABLY THE CENTURY

Charlotte, North Carolina. A lawyer purchased a box of very rare and expensive cigars, then insured them against, among other things, fire. Within a month, having smoked his entire stockpile of these great cigars and without yet having made even his first premium payment on the policy the lawyer filed a claim against the insurance company.

In his claim, the lawyer stated the cigars were lost "in a series of small fires." The insurance company refused to pay, citing the obvious reason, that the man had consumed the cigars in the normal fashion.

The lawyer sued.. and WON!

(Stay with me.)

Delivering the ruling, the judge agreed with the insurance company
that the claim was frivolous.

The judge stated nevertheless, that the lawyer held a policy from
the company, which it had warranted that the cigars were insurable and also guaranteed that it would insure them against fire, without defining what is considered to be unacceptable fire" and was obligated to pay the claim. Rather than endure lengthy and costly appeal process, the insurance company accepted the ruling and paid $15,000 to the lawyer for his loss of the cigars lost in the "fires".

NOW FOR THE BEST PART..

After the lawyer cashed the check, the insurance company had him arrested on 24 counts of ARSON (Arson is the crime of deliberately and maliciously setting fire to structures or wildland areas.) With his own insurance claim and testimony from the previous case being used against him, the lawyer was convicted of intentionally burning his insured property and was sentenced to 24 months in jail and a $24,000 fine.

This is a true story and was the First Place winner in the recent

Criminal Lawyers Award Contest.

"

MANILA, OCTOBER 5, 2009 (MALAYA) BY REGINA BENGCO (Now comes ‘Melor’ in wake of ‘Pepeng’ Pre-emptive actions reduce casualties)

MALACAÑANG yesterday ordered local government units to prepare for the entry of typhoon "Melor" and the return of "Pepeng."

Melor is expected to enter this afternoon or early evening, according to the weather bureau.

Pepeng, which hit the North over the weekend, is being prevented by a high-pressure area from moving toward the South China Sea and leaving the country, said the weather bureau.

Weather forecasters said Melor, which would be given the local name "Quedan" when it enters Philippine territory, may cause exiting Pepeng to do a loop and go back to the Ilocos region, particularly Batanes.

Melor has wreaked havoc in the Northern Marianas and Saipan.

Forecasters said Pepeng and Melor are interacting with each other due to their close proximity, a phenomenon known as Fujiwhara effect or Fujiwhara interaction, which was named after Japanese meteorologist Sakuhei Fujiwhara.

When two cyclones approach each other, their centers orbit and spiral. The larger one will tend to dominate the smaller, although there are times when they merge.

As of 4 p.m. yesterday, Pepeng was 150 km north northwest of Laoag City with maximum sustained winds of 120 kph and gustiness of up to 150 kph. It is forecast to remain almost stationary because it was already interacting with Melor. It weakened from 175 kph to 120 kph Sunday morning.

Pepeng, which was earlier feared to become a super typhoon, claimed at least 14 lives as it hit the North, particularly the Cagayan Valley Region, Saturday.

The fatality toll is way below that of storm "Ondoy" which left 288 people dead as it lashed Metro Manila and nearby regions two Saturdays ago.

Authorities attributed the low casualty figure to pre-emptive actions implemented by the government before Pepeng entered the country over the weekend.

The Office of Civil Defense said there was no casualty in the worst-hit Cagayan Valley region where some 7,000 residents were evacuated before Pepeng made landfall Saturday afternoon.

"We are zero casualty this time," said OCD regional director Chito Castro.

He said strong winds downed a number of electric posts and uprooted trees.

Heavy downpour resulted in the swelling of the Cagayan river, affecting heavily those in the extreme north areas.

He said power outages were reported in many parts of the region. He said landlines were down and that cellular phone coverage were erratic.

All in all, Castro said, about 10,000 families were affected by the calamity throughout the region.

In the Bicol region, some 28,100 families or 132,649 were preemptively evacuated before Pepeng’s landfall.

Heavy downpour caused flooding in some areas, but this subsided later on Saturday, prompting the evacuees to start returning to their houses.

Raffy Alejandro, OCD director in Bicol, said two were reported dead in the region – two-year-old Edwin Domagsang who drowned in Baao town, Camarines Sur, and Roger Moreno who fell while fixing the roof of his house in Naga City.

In the Cordillera Administrative Region, the regional OCD reported 12 deaths in two landslide incidents in Benguet. Two others were injured and one was reported missing in the region, said regional director Olive Luces.

Five of the 12 fatalities perished in a landslide in Beckel village in La Trinidad town. They were Catalina Tabora, Laruan Tobora, Zenia Galbey, Rustom Galbey, and Dapney Gabley.

The seven others died in another landslide in Sitio Manganese, Ampucao village in Itogon town, also in Benguet. Five of them were eight-year-old Junie Cadasa Jr; Jeric Cadasa, 10; Alex Rufino, 21; Ernesto Gabayne, and Lanoy Cadasa while the two others are still unidentified.

Luces said hundreds of families were evacuated due to flooding and landslides.

She said power interruptions were reported in the entire provinces of Kalinga, Abra and Ifugao while part of Mt. Province also had no electricity.

As of 2 p.m. NDCC spokesman Lt. Col. Ernesto Torres said the NDCC head office in Camp Aguinaldo had two confirmed deaths, those from the Bicol region.

Told that the OCD-CAR has confirmed 12 deaths in the region, Torres said: "We have no official report regarding that. The reports that we release to you are the official reports that reach the NDCC but we are monitoring other reports coming from the RDCCs (regional disaster coordinating councils)

The OCD is the operating arm of the NDCC."

Super Typhoon Ondoy make NCR Philippines Float!

Recently, There is a typhoon named Ondoy hit the Philippine responsibility, the people on National Capital region was shock on this incident! The streets was covered with water, poor or rich get out from there home and went to evacuation areas, many families was stranded in there own home, no water, no food and no electricy, they only relie on other people specially the rescuer to help them, but rescuer are not sufficient to cover all the town and barangays. Ondoy done a massive distruction on the Philippines, many people died and many families lost their home. According to a news tabloid
" MANILA, Philippines — (UPDATE) At least 50 people were reported dead as tropical storm “Ondoy” (international code name: Ketsana) lashed the Philippines, bringing massive flooding, television and radio reports said early Sunday.

At least 40 were killed in Rizal province, east of Manila, as entire towns were inundated, Rizal Governor Casimiro Ynares was quoted as saying by GMA television.

Radio stations had earlier reported 10 dead in Manila and its surrounding areas. This included a father and child killed by a collapsing wall weakened by the flood as well as others swept away by rising waters.

Ynares said there were many more missing in flooded towns in his province but he did not give details.

The government declared Manila and 25 other provinces to be in a "state of calamity," Defense Secretary Gilberto Teodoro said, as heavy rains brought by the storm caused the worst flooding in the capital in some 20 years.

Amid a rash of cellphone calls for help by people stranded on the roofs of their houses, President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo appealed to the public to stay calm and follow the instructions of local officials and civil defense workers.

Over 1,800 people were forced to flee their homes and take refuge in evacuation centers due to rising waters, the Office of Civil Defense said.

Flooding was reported in many districts with waters in some areas reaching as high as the rooftops of one-storey buildings, it added.

Power was cut in many areas of Manila, partly due to flooding but also as a protective measure to prevent fallen lines electrocuting people trying to escape the waters.

Defense Secretary Teodoro, who is also in charge of civil defense operations, said all the efforts of the police and the military were being concentrated on rescuing people trapped on rooftops.

But he said the flooding in the streets and the large numbers of stalled vehicles were giving rescue units "a hard time" in reaching those affected.

In a radio broadcast, he advised that "if you are on the roof, don't try to leave. Just remain there on the roof and we will do everything to rescue you."

He remarked that even he had to swim through chest-deep waters to reach his office.

The storm, bearing winds of 85 kilometers (53 miles) per hour with gusts of 100 kph, hit the main island of Luzon near the town of Infanta at about 0200 GMT Saturday, moving west at 19 kph, the weather station said.

Government weather forecaster Gener Quitlong said the equivalent of one month's worth of rain fell on Manila in less than a day.

"We knew there would be rain but not like this," Quitlong told reporters.

One of the three airport terminals in Manila was forced to cancel and divert flights after the flooding hampered its electrical system.

Local officials interviewed on radio said they were moving to evacuate more of their residents.

At least four hospitals in the capital had to move their patients to higher floors after water began seeping into lower levels.

The highways leading to metropolitan Manila were rendered impassable due to the huge number of vehicles stalled in the floodwaters.

Local officials made radio appeals asking rescue agencies to send rubber boats to rescue stranded people, some of whom had been on their rooftops all day and were panicking because of rising waters.

In a suburb of Manila, residents in a flooded area were seen rescuing children from rooftops by placing them in inflated inner tubes before dragging them to higher ground.

The second level of a three-step storm alert was raised over the eastern provinces of Luzon while the first level alert was hoisted over metropolitan Manila and surrounding areas, the government said.

The storm is expected to move west, across the main island of Luzon, before leaving the country early Sunday. The government weather station said it is weakening and that rains are likely to ease.

An average of 20 typhoons and storms hit the Philippines every year."

Now,ondoy is out of the Philippines, but the agony does not over yet, here comes another Typhoon named Pepeng, storm signal are raise now by PAG-ASA, it is now under the Philippines responsibility, let's pray that no one will get hurt in this another massive typhoon!

Mindset!

It's called Mindset!!

As my friend was passing the elephants, he suddenly stopped, confused by the fact that these huge creatures were being held by only a small rope tied to their front leg. No chains, no cages. It was obvious that the elephants could, at anytime, break away from the ropes they were tied to but for some reason, they did not. My friend saw a trainer nearby and asked why these beautiful, magnificent animals just stood there and made no attempt to get away.

"Well," he said, "when they are very young and much smaller we use the same size rope to tie them and, at that age, it's enough to hold them. As they grow up, they are conditioned to believe they cannot break away. They believe the rope can still hold them, so they never try to break free." My friend was amazed. These animals could at any time break free from their bonds but because they believed they couldn't, they were stuck right where they were.

Like the elephants, how many of us go through life hanging onto a belief that we cannot do something, simply because we failed at it once before? So make an attempt to grow further.... Why shouldn't we try it again?

Recession

What is Recession?
This story is about a man who once upon a time was selling Hotdogs by the roadside. He was illiterate, so he never read newspapers. He was hard of hearing, so he never listened to the radio. His eyes were weak, so he never watched television. But enthusiastically, he sold lots of hotdogs. He was smart enough to offer some attractive schemes to increase his sales. His sales and profit went up. He ordered more a more raw material and buns and sold more. He recruited more supporting staff to serve more customers. He started offering home deliveries. Eventually he got himself a bigger and better stove. As his business was growing, the son, who had recently graduated from college, joined his father. Then something strange happened. The son asked, "Dad, aren't you aware of the great recession that is coming our way?" The father replied, "No, but tell me about it." The son said, "The international situation is terrible. The domestic situation is even worse. We should be prepared for the coming bad times." The man thought that since his son had been to college, read the papers, listened to the radio and watched TV. He ought to know and his advice should not be taken lightly. So the next day onwards, the father cut down the his raw material order and buns, took down the colorful signboard, removed all the special schemes he was offering to the customers and was no longer as enthusiastic. He reduced his staff strength by giving layoffs. Very soon, fewer and fewer people bothered to stop at his Hotdog stand. And his sales started coming down rapidly and so did the profit. The father said to his son, "Son, you were right". "We are in the middle of a recession and crisis. I am glad you warned me ahead of time."

Moral of the Story: It's all in your MIND! And we actually FUEL this recession much more than we think.
